The final phase of development consists of taking the synthesized bongo beats, and replacing them with the real thing. It will involve an electric solenoid taken from a normal doorbell unit and placed above the bongos.  The control signals will be passed out through the soundcard to a solenoid controller unit which will in turn pass the electric current through the coils in the solenoid causing it to strike the bongo.
